>>54083703I 100% get why people who were really into what XY was doing hate SM, especially since there seems to have been an ongoing belief that XY was going to be Ash's win/retirement/end with a canonical love interest. Seeing the poster of Ash looking like a retard wearing shorts twisted a knife that was already three inches deep into their chest. Although I feel bad for them to an extent, that's not going to stop me from making jokes at their expense, because the artstyle for SM is one of it's biggest pros over XY. You cannot get faces this expressive with the style they were using there.
