Smoothened out the edges and leveled up everyone to 50 from their various 46-49 levels. Currently on my way to Lavender Tower plot, which shouldn't be too bad hopefully.
Was even able to put my Good Rod to use and catch a Krabby on the top part of Route 12 (the one where the girl with the Return TM usually is, on the water, you know it)
Hoping to head south onto Route 12 after, but I'm pretty sure Viridian City is actually my next destination because Dark Violet's Earthbadge is Badge 5. Might be a bit before I get my Super Rod.
My only big concern is Pasta. I was grinding on wild level 32ish Raticates and I noticed that Crunch wasn't enough to one-shot one of them, even when he was level 49. Maybe it was a bad roll but that made me nervous. Otherwise, his complete lack of bulk means that he's an unreliable switch-in and always a danger to himself and the team, but he's also my OG catch and I don't wanna just bench him.
