Good episode all around. Cap and Friede episodes haven't missed so far. The two of them have a fun dynamic that I like seeing, and I think the show as a whole would benefit more from focusing on how the other RVTs bond with their Pokemon. We got some of that with Murdock and Alcremie, and it was different. They can do more. I know people will complain about Cap hogging the spotlight in the battle, and I get their irritation. The next four episodes seem to be about the kids though, with each kid getting their own episode after next week. Hopefully that tips the balance a little. I'm not saying filler is inherently good or inherently bad, but I like the concepts of the next slate of episodes a lot.
