and while 'he' is the default for humans, 'it' can be female. spoons are female for example, even tough spoons can't really breed.
since i see no wrong with refering to entire species as if they ware male, i also won't see a problem refering to entire species as if it was female.
but thats just me. still, who cares if people want to precieve a certain race of pokemon in a selected gender? (unless they are being autitic about it, like a certain spammer)
