I think I get why you say Dark/Bug (since Leech Life is a Bug move and thus a well-deserved STAB) but, honestly, it wouldn't be difficult for GF to introduce some signature Dark-type move to that hypothetical vampire-based pokemon. They have done it for numerous pokemon in the past:

Perhaps the only connection between Ground and vamps is the fact that they are usually burried underneath in their caskets, but that's really an overstretch anyway. Other than that, no sense whatsoever.
