every 6x5 column is a spot in the party. i can only sub pikachu (either by injury or after death) by someone directly under it. if all 5 pokemon from that column die, then i lose a party spot permanently. usual rules of parity and injury after a gym still apply so if i use boonga against brock, i'll need to sub it for either varane, dembele or denmark against misty. people used to post runs like this before here, but i forgot the proper name, was it heritagelocke, heirlocke or something like that?
Hopefully i can still finish this quick enough so i can meet my beloved held items once more
