I believe this is the first update I do in Blue. No major issues... until Rocket Grunt's Raticate in Mt. Moon. All of my mons were drained from the fights and I didn't remember there was a grunt with a Raticate there. I almost lost my Nidoqueen to it, then I switched to G, the Rattata, my Hero, and it died for the sake of the team. Then Walter finished the job.
Marcel died when I was on route to Rock Tunnel. A Geodude unnexpectedly self destructed. I thought it only learned it at like lvl 23 or something. Will be missed. I was kinda becoming attached to Marcel, it has been so many years since I played RBY with a Mr. Mime that I got nostalgic.
I'm currently at Celadon. First time ever using a Voltorb, it's being better than I expected since Surge gives Thunderbolt as a TM. I'm thinking about what to do about the last slot in the team. I'm kinda in doubt about keeping Vulpix since Arcanine was dead weight in last game besides being able to Body Slam, and Snorlax did a better job at it.
