But I've always considered Mew to be an unique specimens, since they obviously don't age and probably cannot die. Due to Mew's protean nature you could probably cut it to tiny bits and it'd pull a Deadpool on ya'
If the world had once been full of thousands of immortal semi-indestructible Mews we'd see them fairly often, wouldn't we?
Also everyone in-verse seems to think and address Mew as an unique specimen.
