fuck you, volbeat, and pineco. Either volbeat or vibrava might be good against elesa since they are the only ones i can have that resist electric attacks, and i dont really mind benching scyther to give vibrava eviolite for elesa.
My breakout star lately has been scolipede. with black sludge equipped and a moveset of protect, coil, twin needle, and dig he has been able to set up and sweep a lot of fights i would have big trouble with otherwise. Even before heading into nimbasa gym he hit 39, one level over elesa, but frankly i expect i am going to need to overlevel for her anyway. Butterfree and beautifly, on the other hand, are really suffering from their poor defenses and defensive typing.
My plan for elesa was to debuff emolgas sp atk with illumise, then bring in scolipede to set up with coil and speed boost and sweep. sadly for me, bb2 redux makes elesa a triple battle where her entire team spams discharge and heals or gets buffs from it. drayano is a cruel, cruel man.
