It was a Tentacruel I had found while playing on a Silver emulator as a kid. My first real shiny was a Ponyta I had found in SoulSilver.

It was a shiny Tentacruel in Silver. Unfortunately that was on an emulator at the time so it didn't feel that special.

I didn't encounter a wild shiny again until Soul Silver with it being a shiny Ponyta.
