At the end of the year in 2004, at a Nintendo press conference it was announced a new Pokemon game would be released the following year. A whole year goes by without any news about it, then at the end of 2005 the games finally were given a release date. When it did release, it was the worst collection of Pokemon to date, was poorly optimized for the console, and for the first time in franchise history they ran at 30fps. I will never apologize for these newer games because I never got an apology for what is now considered a classic title.
