That sadly works only on pokes because they are on other games as well, but the professor and other human characters should get much more content. Slap some comics etc. In game but DON'T MAKE THEM BATTLE PASS STUFF OR UNLOCKABLES. Otherwise it becomes Apex Legends situation where you groan when you get some story comic rather than something you want.
