And Dark is for those who are evil, mischeivious and/or foreboding. AZ did do something terrible but the AZ of now is more solemnn than anything. And Ghost has more direct connections to the creepy or dead which he refuses to be.
He's a walking, ancient legend. I would put him down as a Rock/Fairy typing.
