I think it's great, but then I started playing during gen 1 instead of gen 4 or 5 like most people on this board so I was prepared for change and didn't hate it for not being enough like the DS games. Frankly I think X and Y were better than anything from gen 4 or 5, if I'm being honest.

Gen 7 has the best Fairy, though.
