- big bad is a legendary pokemon named something like Asterys??. Grass & Dragon. Its forcing Pokemon to mega evolve throughout the region, terrozing nature so region inhabitants are building a bigger city to house more pokemon and people.
- 50 mega evolutions in game, Delphox & Greninja are the only new
- lots of new regional variant Pokemon including a Fairy Gumshoos with hair & comb
- Amarys from Pokemon Scarlet Violet makes an appearance
- Zygarde almost has nothing to do with game and is a post game choosable fight. you collect cells and battle a giant one while you're atop prism tower
- starter pokemon are totodile, litten, snivy
- can craft mega stones
- most QOL's of past legends game returns
- 5 diverse biomes similar to pokemon scarlet and violet, 1 of them has a giant tree that you can climb, branches yield fairy pokemon
- game has 5 "Novas" instead of gym leaders
