I always loved the aesthetics of Kalos in the anime, it feels like a countryside off in France with all these little towns and cities to explore, so much culture to experience. Plus, it's got plenty of cool Pokemon to meet, and a neat route setup. Better than Unova's box thing, anyway.
Feels like the kind of place I could get lost in walking around with my Pokemon, y'know?
I wouldn't mind sitting the team down under a beautiful autumn tree and just catching lunch with them as the spectacle of fall leaves twirled around us, talking warmly about how our last battle went and having some practice battles under the cool heat of the fall sun. We could even take a nap afterward, maybe. Peaceful and serene.
If I was playing it safe, I'd go with Unova. It's based off my country afaik and BW were some of my favorite games, so I'm sure I'd get along alright in the region, if perhaps a little bit bored with the scenery.
