Chris was busy with customers who had enough foresight to jump on the Sugimori bandwagon before I did, so I was placed on his waiting list. This gave me time to design outfits fitting for "my" journeys through each region of the Pokemon world and compile galleries of reference images. The first three are shown here.
I also started wondering just what exactly I was going to do with all these images of myself as a pokemon trainer. Seemed wasteful to just sort of "have" them. But what could you really "do" with pictures? That was when it hit me: why not arrange and print them out in a poster? I ran the idea by Chris and he agreed. I don't think either of us realized quite what we were getting into.
