Here's my lad. Kind of a rival-y type, a bit like the competitive ones a lá Bede or Hugh, albeit more chilled-out and personable with whoever he's up against until the battle actually gets underway. He was inspired to pick up training after a run at the Battle Factory with a Rental Team, commanding the temporary squad alongside his dad because he was just a kid at the time.
Now, he wants to put in a good enough performance at one of the various Regional Leagues to have the 'resumé' to become a Frontier Brain himself some day, that way he can inspire others to take up training, like he was inspired. So, while he's pretty chill outside of combat, he starts putting proper effort in once a battle kicks off, and most of his alone time is spent running training with his team to keep them at peak performance. Because of this, he went out of his way to pick similarly-minded team members, who share his enthusiasm for competition, and have a desire to get stronger.
