As for me, I just dropped by these few threads after following a bunch of pokken threads on /v/. Came for more pokken discussion, stayed to collect some more gardevoir images. I've been out of the loop for a year, and when I was playing Genesect hadn't been banned yet. You already seem to know the answers.
A quick peak at Smogon says Mega Gardevoir hasn't fallen below OU so it's being used for something. Interesting that specs Sylveon is a thing, really neither pokemon would be as useful as they are today if spooky sword wasn't banned. What the hell were they thinking?
