TLDR of the >>49072145
concept/inspiration: The only fossil of the Deinocheirus from 1965 to 2014 was just a extremely large pair of arms and nothing else.
In the case of this Fakemon though it apparently turned out when they revived it that the mon was actually entirely composed of arms, which is why they only ever found arm fragment fossils of it.

Another weird fossil one.
This one was apparently inspired by the Deinocheirus, who we used to only have the arm bones of.
With the fakemon though, it turns out when they revive it that it was entirely made of arms to begin with.
That’s the type of insanity I like in pokemon.
