I used to dislike Zeraora for the same reasons, but from paying close attention to your pic, Zeraora's legs have much more detail and care for functionality and proportions. And this is alongside every other fix, like having an actual muzzle
Unfortunately Lucario also has the advantage of being one of Sugimori's faves, so any competition will be handicapped against it so as to not take Lucario's spotlight. It sucks because if the other cool furbaitmons got shilled at least half as hard as Lucario instead of just being horribly mishandled and dropped like a hot potato, we could've gotten a nice rotation of shillmons. I mean, just portray these things as cool and aloof talking pokemon with great stats and lots of importance and all the 8-12 demographic will idolize them for life.
