With a Rayquaza themed thread, I return to my Autismlocke and I return to Emerald. My Brilliant Diamond run ended at Lucian (I'll tell the story of how it ended, I got comically unlucky), so I'm Autism-running this bitch again.
For Emerald, I rolled Mudkip, got a little unlucky with Marill dying early and critting my Route 102 encounter (a Lotad), but other than that, the run's been pretty smooth. Roxanne did some decent damage, but I got through pretty easily with Mudkip. Nickname theme here is gonna be Caribbean theme, maybe extending to some culturally-Caribbean places like Guyana and New Orleans.

>>49155979Congrats on the dub! I'd recommend Emerald, though I don't hate ORAS. They're a lot easier than Emerald though, especially if you use the newer features like DexNav and the free Latios/Latias.
>>49156216Congrats on the victory! Quick question for future games though, are you playing on an emulator on PC? If so, you can use a randomizer to edit the ROM so that it actually won't be randomized, but will alter trade evolutions to evolve like other Pokemon.
