Easily Wartortle. My first starter. I kept him from evolving into Blastoise because I really liked his ears/tail, and knew he would lose them. Hyper-leveled him to make him strong enough keep up back then, but thanks to eviolite, he can actually be a contributing member of the team, now.
I also have a thing for Butterfree, and by extension any butterfly/moth-inspired Pokemon with expansive moveset options. It's impressive how well Butterfree can wreck everything for the first half of Kanto.
