Competitively speaking with the Normal/Flying types, Staraptor is the best, followed by Togekiss, and Braviary and Swellow are at similar levels of decency and usability. They form kind of the cut-off for respectable battlers on the competitive scene, since they are both at home in RU and ranked as NU. Other norm-birds, like Fearow, Dodrio, Pidgeot, and friends (while cool) don't really measure up sadly.
