I dont know, something about them feels homely to me. There were two different periods of my pokemon game -career. First, I played gen 1-3 as a kid, then quit and forgot about pokemon for like 6-7 years. Then came back and started up Diamond (as an "adult"), and after that ive been playing all of the main games.
I love the pokemon themselves and making weird teams etc. and the pokemon world is fun to explore.
