I made my own modifications to the Randomlocke based on the UEFA Champions' League format. For those of you who don't know what it is, think of it as an annual, international year long tournament held between football (soccer) clubs in Europe. The rules are as follows:
[UEFALOCKE RULES]
>PERMADEATHS
A Pokemon who faints is treated as having a career ending injury and is unusuable for the rest of the run.
>SQUAD SIZE
At the very start of the game, generate 14 Pokemon. You may only use those Pokemon for the rest of the game. If none of those Pokemon learn an HM move required to progress, you may catch another Pokemon for that purpose, but you may NEVER under ANY circumstances use it in battle.
>HOME-GROWN RULE
In the real-life Champions League, around 1/3 of the total squad (at least 8 of 25 players) has to be made up of players who developed in the league the team plays in (e.g. a Spanish team must have at least 8 players who developed in the Spanish league).
Similarly, at least 1/3 of your total squad (at least 5 Pokemon, rounded up) have to be theoretically obtainable during normal gameplay, not counting the postgame. This does NOT mean they have to be from the generation the game is set in. So for instance, for a POKEMON DIAMOND run:
>Magikarp
would count as home-grown because it is obtainable through normal gameplay, despite being a Generation 1 pokemon.
>Bastiodon
would NOT count as home-grown because you cannot obtain it without trading in Diamond, despite being a Generation 4 pokemon.
>Heatran
would NOT count as home-grown because despite being Gen 4 and obtainable in Diamond, is only obtained after beating the Elite 4.
You can have more than 5 home-grown Pokemon, but never less than 5. You can also use non-home-grown Pokemon for the remaining 9 slots in your squad.
