Spent a whole dang eternity grinding up Hibiscus, Charity and Magnum in Pyrite Town before even stepping foot into Mt Battle, specifically EV training Magnum in speed by giving her the Macho Brace and defeating the trainer with Skitty and Zigzagoon over and over again (giving 4 speed EVs per battle) just to try and counteract how goddamn slow Octillery is naturally
The ten trainer gauntlet itself ended up being ezpz, Hibiscus and Magnum cutting through all the Ground types like butter and even handling Dakim with ease. A little bummed that I wasn't able to catch Entei, even had it at a sliver of red while paralyzed, but that catch rate of 3 is one hell of a bitch. Definitely gonna stock up on Net Balls and Timer Balls for Venus tho, having a Suicune would be amazing for this challenge
