Now, I haven't played Pokemon since Crystal some 16 or so years ago. Thanks to pokemon go I got a rush of nostalgia and thought I should try out the newer games, so I bought a 3DS and Pokemon X.
Well, I breezed through the game in a relatively short time and I was shocked how easy this game was. Not just easy but incredibly, boringly piss easy. Not one of my Pokemon fainted in my entire playthrough.
Now I know this is nostalgia and I was probably shit at videogames as a kid, but still, I remembered the games to be at least a bit challenging in the endgame.
tl;dr: Did these games get progressively easier over time or is my nostalgia fooling me and they've been piss easy from the start?
Also, what is the hardest Pokemon game? I really did enjoy X somewhat but the difficulty really hurt my experience.
