>>50619326The art on the right is not necessarily horrible on its own. If I saw it in a different game series or anime I would probably not have an issue with it. But since it is canon Pokémon and it is very different from the historical character designs, I do not like it. Add to that the emphasis on “muh diversity” character models in the most recent trailer and it just makes it that much more disappointing. Even if you’re genuinely fond of the whole diverse “ayo we be black/brown with blue eyes and have cornrows n sheeit” aspect, don’t you feel kind of cheap since every company is basically only doing it to keep from being cancelled by the pc retards?
