Started on Platinum. I actually tried one yesterday after finishing FR, but I wiped to Roark because I didn't realise how weak Bubble was. This is also the second time I've rolled a naughty nature water type in a row.
This time went better because I didn't kill my guaranteed Machop encounter above Oreburgh. I decided to name him after Don the Machamp who died against the E4 in Emerald to carry on his legacy. Abra is neat too, which is why I've decided to try and use it for this run. Other than that it's one Shinx away from every Sinnoh team, but at least the Budew art is delightful.
I've seen Platinum go wrong for a few people in these threads so I'll make sure to be careful.

>>54546455Damn, sad to see it end like that. I know the pain of losing a good team member right before the E4 too and it sucks. You did good for a run in which you can barely make out what's happening though. And Gyarados is just a monster if you don't have an electric type to deal with it.
