>>56103114 said, ivs don't matter so much as matchups, but if you're going to collect good pokemon for pvp you may as well shoot for ones with good ivs for it while you're at it. I make very few exceptions, but I generally only dump resources into ones with 90%+ pvp ivs because I'd rather have a 9/10 pokemon filling it's role than a 2/10 but I overthink everything and I'm still figuring pvp out.
