Pokemon will never need to do anything to improve since it will continue to sell well. Dead applies to that sole aspect. The graphics might improve but the battle animations will always be shit. The content will never have soul and will also be stupid dialogue nonsense.
Hell even the concept behind villains are essentially long gone. Just look at team skull and team yell.
