>>53798018Ideally I would've preferred that the champions didn't fight at all, and that the M8 was just some unofficial summer stunt they run for fun where the winning competitor can pick a champion of their liking to have an exhibition match with. That way, they could reintroduce all of Ash's old rivals, have him duke it out with those that took the victory from him, and still let Ash have his dick sizing contest against Leon at the end without it being too big of a victory for him, such as going from being the guy who never EVER made it, to suddenly being world number 1.
We'd also preserve the integrity of every other champion, which is honestly more important to me personally than having Ash win.
