The last 2 gyms were a cake walk, but the elite 4 was a tricky one. Lorelei was simple enough with snorlax using thunderbold with some help via blastoise. Bruno is a complete pisstake as we all know and agatha was beaten by dugtrio.
Lance was were only the 2nd death of the run came into play, with a ponyta being sacrificed to save snorlax. Lance went down to some ice beams and blizzards after that.
The rival was a dick. Alakazam got a critical hit on blastoise and it was all looking to go badly, but dugtrio provided the goods. Venusaur was horrible. Venusaur knocked out farfetch'd and nidoqueen and only just about got beaten by snorlax due to some para-hax courtesy of nidoqueen's body slam.
Now the journey sees me in gen 1 games for the last time as I take on yellow!
