I think it's more of your generic deer mon. But if I have to put particular species on it, I know the creators dex is based on the western US. It's entire line has a perpetually standing tail, the only deer species around that area that's known to have it's tail to stand up on end are white tail deer.
My guess is White Tailed Deer.
