XY had some of the most undercooked writing in the franchise all of its good ideas went up in smoke when they went to chase Hoenn clout and instead of fixing the problem with DLC or Pokemon Z we just end up with games that got forgotten in spite of their strengths and schizos who pretend their childhood memories matter to everyone else that moved on
PLZ-A has the potential to fix this, but 50% chance they won't and all of those super cool designs and concepts from XY go completely unused for shitty OCs nobody cares about and end up less interesting than the PLA ancestors were
