Acerola - I could’ve just reused the triple Elesa team but I figured I might as well take advantage of Electric Terrain.
Kahili - definitely the hardest Elite 4 this week, the free rock options are pretty limited and dealing with Toxic restricts your teambuilding options a lot. Coalossal actually fainted early, leaving Xerneas and Marowak to deal with half a health bar on Salamanca with Standard Damage Reduction 8 active while it was throwing out Heat Waves.
Molayne - Silver go unga bunga. Brought Blaine to reset weather after the opponent’s sync move. Easy fight.
Olivia - May go unga bunga. Brought Lucian to debuff SpDef and Sabrina to max May’s SpAtk/crit without MPR RNG. Easy fight.
Champion - Tried clearing with Bugsy but he sucked ass, ended up just off-typing. Melony was the real MVP here giving infinite status defense and screens with Masked Royal debuffing Def. Took me a bunch of attempts to finally settle on the right team comp.
