>>36318730>everyone in my local playerbase are all dustletsI've only got about 300k dust at the moment, because I never imagined trading would be implemented, and I never expected stardust (let alone such an absurd amount of stardust) to be what facilitates trade. I didn't really see the point in hoarding dust, so, above a certain "reserve" limit, I used it to power up legendaries, shinies, cool regionals like heracross, etc., because that was literally all it was useful for prior to about a month ago.
Given this, and given how long (or how much money) it takes to grind up stardust, you'd have to be genuinely autistic to not understand why people are a bit hesitant to drop massive amounts of dust on trades -- a good amount of people only have enough dust for a handful of special trades, and who knows if what they're trading/trading for will be devalued in the near future, or if there'll be some other reduced dust event, or if some new mechanic will come along that sucks up dust.
