Seriously, you just pick a meta you want to play in, build an appropriate team, and queue up. You'll probably get your ass handed to you until you get better at teambuilding, but at least you only spend 5 minutes making a team instead of 3 hours. You have an idea, work on it, test it immediately, and go back to the drawing board if necessary. It's how any fun competitive game works.
