I beat the Galactic stuff in Veilstone.
My Lucario died to a crit Fire Punch from a wild Magmar at the Ironworks.
Fuck.
Silver lining: I caught said Magmar.
I will start grinding up either the murderous bitch (Picrel) or my Ponyta to deal with Mars and Jupiter's Bronzors cuz they have Extrasensory, and Golbats follow them.
It ALSO turns out that my Jolteon has a Minus-Speed Nature. God damn it. I will need to give him Speed EVs to outrun that fucking Crobat.
>>51546698I'm rocking Tentacruel since I decided for this run and all Nuzlockes after it (barring say a Mono-Water or Mono-Flying one) that Gyarados is joining the Banlist. My Banlist now includes:
> All Legendaries and Mythicals, from Articuno all the way to Genesect (I have no intent of playing a post-Gen-5 game if I'm being honest).> All Pseudolegendaries, defined by me as "Any Non-Legendary Pokémon with a Base Stat Total of 600 or greater, that lack the Ability Truant."> GyaradosCrobat is very much a Candidate for this Banlist, should it prove itself well enough in one more run. It's been overshadowed by Staraptor in this run though.
Also your Species Clause seems interesting. Mine is relatively lenient:
> If I catch a Pokémon, its whole Evolutionary line counts as a dupe> Banlist Pokémon (and their pre-evolutions) can be skipped.I have a real problem when it comes to not abusing things I allow myself in a challenge run. I definitely did not need 4 backup Gyarados in LeafGreen. Come to think of it, that would have been one of the funniest ways to sweep that Game's E4.
