That said, here's what I do beforehand...
>Look up the setlist online (if it's been leaked, of course). If it's not available, look up the set's Japanese equivalent.>Make sure I have everything I need for the prerelease beforehand (entry fee or ticket if pre-registration is available, sleeves, Energy so that U don't have to substitute if the organizers run out of a type of Basic Energy, trades for after the event).>Get some fucking sleep....And for when I'm opening my packs.
>Group cards based on type.>When deck-building time starts, check types to see if there's an obvious strategy I can use. If there is none, just run whatever. If an EX is pulled, make that type the main focus. Include Colorless 'mons and all Trainers (barring Spirit Links) regardless of what type of deck I run.And there, that's how I deal with prereleases.
