>>27336536>Momocon (a rather large con in Atlanta) is hosting a Pokemon Go Meetup>strangely enough, it's in my town about 50 miles outside of Atlanta>excited to go to something close to me>half excited to make new friends, half afraid to spill my spaghetti>I'm by myself for about an hour>some of my friends come for awhile, very casual about it, their phones die (they didn't bring an extra battery???) and they leave>I'm by myself again, but I don't really mind>catch some rare mons, level up twice>town square is usually empty>there must be about 800 people here>live music, people carrying banners for their teams, lots of happy people>generally happy atmosphere>lures everywhereI didn't meet any new friends (I met some turbo autismo people that I later ditched, but that's a story for another time), but that's okay. I haven't had this much time with Pokemon since I was a kid, so I'm really happy. 10/10 event, can't wait for the next meet.
