Trevor would pull a bit of an N by having his team (bar his ace, Beedrill) change between battles although unlike N Trevor's final team would be a culmination of the Pokemon he'd used prior. Tierno's team is Pokemon with Dancing Moves, I think that's what most people go with anyhow and Ampharos because I like to think that in spite of being a big fat oaf, Tierno's actually really skilled at dancing and elegance like some unassuming fashion-meister or some shit.
Shauna's team is just standard Grass-Fire-Water core, I gave her Talonflame cause it seemed appropriate she'd probably catch a Route 1 Pokemon, Delcatty is carry over from her XY Team obviously. The monkey member would be an earlier pick up for her than the more elegant Grass-Fire-Water member and Kangaskhan seemed like a fitting Pokemon for Shauna to have given she's the heart of the quintet even though it gives her two Normal-Types. Serena/Calem I just went with Pokemon that felt interesting, Gallade I figured would be an interesting choice even though it overlaps with Chesnaught and Delphox's typings plus it acts as a bit of a contrast to Diantha since this rival is the one with the highest battle aspirations.
