>>50653305You're absolutely right, but the other thing is that she eventually got humbled a bit by others calling her out on her hypocrisy and even ocassionally beating her out of it. Including Ash eventualy. She mellows out over time and the two spend a lot of time just being good friends that occasionally bicker. Even when they have a really bad falling out, they remember how important they are to each other and make up. She's also the loudest and most constant supporter of his right next to Dawn. If Dawn was his prsonal cheerleader, Iris was his personal one-woman tribal marching band. Literally in the battle with Roxie.
Ash and Iris both had major writing issues from the start that basically don't get fully resolved until BW Season 2 after the league is over. You and I watched everything, so we saw that, but most others didn't make it that far, so they didn't. Even before that point, though, they do still interact just fine.
