ZA objectively is a terrible unpolished game and there is objective evidence for it. The one singular city is 1 entire model, there is bump maps on the buildings where there are multiple broken textures, NPCs pop in far closer than they should, and people are even falling through the floor by simply running around.
If ZA was made 100% the same but with an entire different brand and copyrights, absolutely everyone would be shitting on it. But because it’s Nintendo/Pokemon, being less competently made as Sonic 06 gets you free passes.
