LZA is already 99.99% done, only being held back because Holiday 2025 is its best chance for profits before the Gen 10 hype train kicks off.
They're not going to scrap finished products they've already this much poured time, money and effort into, especially when they have no contingencies that don't risk putting Pokemon into a state of stagnation for several years, causing the franchise to nosedive into a downward spiral because now the merchandise machine no longer has new characters to make toys out of.
If shit leaks, it leaks. As long as those leaks don't let people play the games early for free, they'll just have to suck it the fuck up and deal with it. The machine can only go forward and has no pause button or brakes.
