And keep in mind that Gen5 was the first time a new generation came out on the same hardware as a previous generation. This made BW the 4th set of pokemon games on the DS, after D/P then Platinum then HGSS. So considering the platform was so saturated, it's understandable they might not sell as well. And even then, we're talking about a very small difference from the others.
