The other thing is that if I lane, the enemies get to run up and score 2-8 points *while being damaged.* I hate when enemies score while being damaged, it feels like they are cheating, and when I try to do it, 2 people defend and they manage to prevent me from scoring two points somehow. My ally laner is nowhere to be found in these encounters.
It's just several levels of meant-to-lose matchmaking.
