It really is a neat service. 3,000 pokemon storage where we can move whole boxes at a time? I personally think it will work neat. I would complain if it were more expensive, but I think this is a fair price for the service provided.
Also, Pokemon transfer has really never been free. It either takes time from another person (and time is money), a link cable, multiple systems... etc....
