I'm a complete newbie to Pokemon competitive battling, as in I have never done it. I've started some sketchy IV breeding so far in X/Y with aspirations to get a good team together. I'm mainly looking for a fun team that I like to use. I'm not too worried about my team having slight weaknesses that could be fixed with a Garchomp or other Pokemon that everyone uses. (No idea if Garchomp is as prevalent as he was in White/Black). I'm more interested in getting a team of 6 I like and making it work.
My provisional idea for a team of 6 is:
Kangaskhan, Aegislash, Mr. Mime, Omastar, Magnezone, Hawlucha
I haven't REALLY done any weakness checks on that team, other than switching in Mr. Mime to get a Psychic on board to tackle my Fighting weaknesses. So that team is probably a mess.
The others that would make the subs bench would be: Arcanine, Gengar, Muk, Malamar, Marowak, Excadrill, Klefki, Escavalier (Stop with the steel types...), Electivire, Scyther/Scizor.
Any other suggestions outside of those are also very welcome. Thanks!
